Survey of Biodiversity in the Gulf of Mexico (August 2010)

Here is an image of Dr. Slice taken last Friday afternoon on Dr. Dean Grubb's research boat during a sampling survey. Dr. Dennis Slice was assisting with the tagging of a 3 meter great hammerhead shark (Sphyrna mokarran) as part of an ongoing survey of biodiversity in the Gulf of Mexico.
