Abstract:

The Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) is a U.S. Department of Energy asset that is dedicated to enabling critical scientific, research, and health initiatives of the department and its laboratory system. This talk will describe the types of research opportunities available to current college students (undergraduates and graduate students) and information on how to apply, including tips like how to approach a potential mentor.
