This course covers the methods of weighted residuals, finite element analysis of one and two-dimensional problems, isoparametric elements, time dependent problems, algorithms for parabolic and hyperbolic problems, applications, advanced Galerkin techniques. Prerequisite: ISC 5316 or consent of instructor.
