The STEM Student Employment Program (SSEP) is a direct hire authority for undergraduate and graduate degree seeking students enrolled in scientific, technical, engineering, or mathematics majors. Students must be continuously enrolled on at least a half-time basis at a qualifying educational institution and be at least 16 years of age.

The Naval Research Enterprise Intern Program (NREIP) is a ten-week intern program is designed to provide opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to participate in research, under the guidance of an appropriate mentor, at a participating Navy laboratory. The Office of Naval Research (ONR) is offering summer appointments at a Navy lab to current sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students from participating schools. Saxman One is handling the administration of the application process through a website. Each electronic application from a prospective intern will be sent for evaluation to the point of contact at the Navy Lab identified by the applicant.

The goal of the Explore BiGG Data REEU is to holistically prepare talented, diverse women for graduate programs and careers in bioinformatics, genetics and genomics. Because demand for bioinformatics capabilities throughout the food, agricultural, and natural resource sectors greatly outweighs current supply, there is a critical need for a diverse, talented workforce well trained in Bioinformatics, Genetics, and Genomic (BiGG) Sciences.

Bruins-In-Genomics (B.I.G.) Summer Research Program is an 8-week full-time immersion program for undergraduates interested in learning how to read and analyze genes and genomes. Through this program students will have the opportunity to experience graduate-level coursework, and learn the latest cutting-edge research, tools and methods used by leading scientists to solve real-world problems.
