"Nonlinear Diffusion-based Schemes for Image Restoration and Interpolation"

The author describes several nonlinear diffusion-based techniques for image denoising and inpainting. He makes an introduction in these PDE-based restoration domains and highlights his most important contributions. Novel parabolic and hyperbolic nonlinear PDE models are developed for image filtering. Then some effective image interpolation solutions are derived from these PDE-based smoothing schemes. Successful experiments and method comparisons are also provided.
